Default 90-92 modded Pass door panel for speaker>

here is the finished product

The speaker is an Orion HCCA 5s component set. I made a custom bracket to mount the tweeter in the center over the 5.25" I just hope it sounds okay

Please take some pics of the door apart when you do the install on the driver's side. How much depth did you have in that location? Last, you may be able to find some acousitically transparent red speaker grill fabric to hide the speaker more but let it sound great. I was thinking of perforating the door there so the sound would come out but it would be invisible.

I will try to remember to take pictures.. on the Pass side i had to cut a hole in the door so the speaker to fit in. My doors have holes from the Stock bose (89). on the Pass side the hole was too far forward.. so I cut a chunk out to make the speaker fit and then put some bracing in the old speaker hole for support.

The driverside will be using the stock hole from the bose door speaker but I will cut about 2" of the top of the opening.. I will then use an ABS sheet to mount the 5.25" there is at least 3" of space in the door.. I should have the driverside done this week..

Where can I find that cloth you are talking of?
