Default Amp question

Is 200 watts enough power to drive a sub-woofer rated at 50-250 RMS?

It will move it OK and be musical. Just don't run a ton of clipping into it by overdoing the gains.

So maybe it would be better if I bridged my outputs of my Alpine PDX-4.100 to drive my components and then got a separate mono amp for the sub-woofer such as this Pioneer GM-D8500M?

personally bridged rears off a 4.100 should work pretty good... dont expect earth shatering bass but will work great. i did a pdx4.100 a 12" sub and components in a Z06 for a buddy it worked great had a good amount of bass more then the normal person would wnat. also depends on ur sub, how efficient it is, what size box, etc

The sub is only a 10" shallow mount Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW1000F.

So do you think that running my Elemental Designs Edi 3.65 components in the doors from the front outs and bridging the rear outs for this sub will work OK?
