Default Sub Wiring ?
Hi...
My Amp installation instructions only show how to wire one Sub but I need to wire two.It's a 2 channel Discus Amp and it says.."each model is capable of 4 Ohms or 2 Ohms operation per channel, or 2 Ohms mono."

My Subs are 2 Ohm SVC's...I'd really appreciate the Help.

You should be able to just wire one 2 ohm sub off each channel of the amp. Pretty straightforward. Which model amp is it? Are you running any other speakers off the amp?

wire each coil up to 4 ohms then parallel them together and run the amp bridged

thats for dual voice coil subs

my bad read it wrong. i woudl series and run it 4ohm bridged

Success !!AND it only took me 3 days .Thats right expert here.It's a "Discus" Amp and I wired it separately to each channel ,maybe I'll try the series and bridging it down the road...I have a tiny bit of RPM dependant whine (I did reground H/U, Amp ground is good, RCA's are run apart from power) but I can probably live with it...thanx

A ground loop isolator should get rid of the alternator whine.

Or you might try grounding the RCA to the H/U chassis.
