Accessory power non functional - blown fuse?
I was doing the installation recommended to get accessory power using the 3 wires near the fuse box under the passenger footrest. I accidentally touched the switched wire to the chassis and there was a spark (and I know I shouldn't have connected the power until after I finished all the connections, but too late now). After I hooked everything together, I found that I don't have power. Did I blow a fuse, and if so, which one? Anything else that could be wrong before I go on a wild goose chase?

Was it the yellow wire that produced the spark? That wire should only be hot with the ignition set to the ACC or ON position.
Replace the fuse and check the yellow wire for current with the key in the OFF position. There should be no power until you turn the key to ACC or ON.

It was the wire that I had connected to the switched yellow wire that sparked. It made contact with the metal support that holds the stereo in place. I replaced fuse 11 - worked like a charm! Thanks!
