Best bang for buck C5 System?
Looking to upgrade, done some reading but looking for plug and play advice.
Did replace front Twiddlers with Polk db351's can't say I was as happy as i hoped I would be. Almost feel like they were blown out of the box?
I am dropping a pair of 8" subs in the cargo with a 300 watt two channel Amp. Next step would be to replace the Amp with a nice 4-channel to run the whole set up.
Looking to keep the stock HU for as long as possible, and just upgrade around it for now.
Originally hoped the Polk's would be able to stay long term and just add a solid 8"mid in place of the Bose and power that with the new Amp, but now not so sure. Looks like a matched Component set up front is a must.
Also considering Tweeters on front pillars for more range. The sound must be significantly improved over them hidden in the stock door location?
What do you have and how do you like it?
