Any installers out there that use the OS2. I replaced the HU in my 07 with a Kenwood DNX9980. Also replace the Bose amp and speakers. I'm having a problem with the ONStar. When I hit the button on the mirror I get a little high pitched squeal for about 1 second and then it comes on and says "Onstar Ready" like its supposed to. Is that normal?

Second issue is that after 3 days the onstar has failed completely. Still mutes the radio and the onstar light comes on on the OS2 but its silent. I have replace the OS2 3 times. The third one I just finished installing and its still working but I'm worried it will fail in a couple days.

I have the white and white black speaker output of the OS2 snipped on the output harness and have the wires connected to the old Bose front speaker with new wire soldered to the speaker terminals. Old wire is disconnected. I think this is what the instructions say to do when you pull the Bose amp.

Also, the chimes chime real slow. The first time they are activated they chime like the OEM chimes to but after that its real slow, like once chime every 4 seconds.

I have replace the chime module too to no avail.

Anyone have an idea?
