I am gearing up for audio-shangri-la in my '09 C6, and just wanting to see if anyone had tried these alternative tweeter mounting spots, as opposed to the upper-door twiddler spots. Photos-circles show where I am speaking about:
1) Far left and right of upper-front dash (has a decent angle, not sure they'd fit here?)
2) Far left and right of top-rear of dash, up near windshield
3) Mid way up left and right pillars (I've seen these installed, but do not care for the after molding bulge in them)
4) 2 Tweets in the center speaker spot, could be tilted forward -side
Just looking for any feedback or pros-cons, and if you have used any of these locations (please post pix). Thanks ...
Yeah, but those little flat spots on the upper far R&L front dash look dang sweet, and would be aimed at your head too, just don't know if there's room behind there yet. The pillar thing just looks too prego to me? Thanks as always Mark ...
