C5 head unit replacement question
i did a search and didnt exactly find the answer i was looking for.
but im wanting to replace my HU in my 2000 c5 coupe.
is it as simple as buying the adapter wire harness and hooking up the new stereo? or do i need something extra or do i need to change anything?
reason im asking is cause i ran into issues on my 97 trans am and the stupid factory amp.
so i just want to make sure what all is intailed before i do this.

ok sweet, so no need to splice or run any new wire or wires??? this is the bose system too.
as far as my trans am, the issue im having is when the volume is turned up to a certain point the sound cuts out. and i have been told with monsoon systems in those cars the factory amp has to be removed or this occurs.
