Too good to be true
I was shopping around and found a deal too good to be true. A local shop has the Pioneer AVIC Z130BT for $730. I had marked that unit off my list as being too expensive and was going for the AVIC X930BT in stead but I am tempted to drive up and check this deal out. What do I need to check for? Is there a way to tell if it is a refurb, used, or perhaps "hot"?

IF it's a refurb or used, it legally has to be marked as so. Hot? From a legitimate shop? I would assume not. But if it's a raw unit with cut wires, probably.
There's a couple sites that have it for sale in the $800 range... So it's not like it's a mind blowing deal. Bet wholesale on it is under $600.
It used to be that a "decent" deal in car audio equipment was 50% of retail...
