Hey all. I have a brand new (maybe 20 miles of driving on it.) Duralast replacement battery for my C6. I want to charge the battery in my house on a Brand new CTEK 3300 Charger that pulse maintains the battery. I want to leave it on over the next 6 months for winter. Is this a bad Idea due to whatever gasses are emitted or other issues? Thanks
I leave my battery on a simple charger that I picked up from the local auto parts store. It has both 2A & 4A charging modes, and 'overcharge' protection. Should that be sufficient to keep my battery healthy between drives? I've noticed that some charging devices seem to specialize in battery maintenance, not necessarily simple charging. I'm just counting on the 'overcharge' protection on my charger to keep my battery healthy.
