Default C5 Stealth box sub choice

I have a C5 stealth box. Would a JL Audio 10w3v3 be a good choice? Is there enough cubic feet in the box for that speaker? I'm having a hard time choosing a sub. I'm also looking at Diamond Audio subs but am not sure what will work with my box.

First get the mounting depth of your box and then go speaker shopping.

Choices are limited for the stealth box, many more subs can be used with the flush style.

Its 7 inches deep. So will aNY sub requiring less than that work?

With the stealthbox we have the 10w3 will fit just fine
The CVR or CVT from Kicker will fit
Any shallow sub will fit
The ARC ks10 will fit

The mounting depth on a stealthbox is not 7 inches for ours as we list the max at 6 1/4
then you also have to worry about the size of the magnet. With the angle of the bottom to fit into the well a magnet size larger than 6 inches will not fit

Which DIamond sub
We sell both JL and Diamond as well

The total depth from the top of the box to the bottom is 7" I assumed that I would need a little clearance, I just didnt know how much. So a 10w3 will work, thats good, cause the way I'm leaning. Either that or a Diamond D3 or a Hex. I see they make a shallow mount Hex. IS that what I'm gonna have to go with?

Do you have your amp yet? Don't forget to factor in wRMS, number of coils, and ohms

Dennis,

Do you happen to know what the max magnet size is for a flush box? Is it still 6"?
