Radio sounds like crap
Got in my 01 after work yesterday and turned on the radio . The thing sounds like crap. All bass no treble. Tried the treble adjust but it would not change at all. Worked fine while driving to work. Any ideas?

its all stock with a Ipod adapter hooked up to the harness that is used for the cd player. I have a bid on a stock Radio on Flee Bay just in case.

If it's anything like my 05, the subs in the door work off of their own amp. The twiddlers and rear speakers where you get your mids and highs work off of an amp that is down in the passenger footwell. I'd look there first.

The door subs are self powered, but C5 doesn't have an external amp. It does have a 'Bose processor' tucked in up above the gas pedal, but the 'amp' is internal to the radio itself.
If you can get a new radio for cheap that's where I'd start.
