Does stock Radio have MUTE function?
Hi Folks:
Can someone tell me if the stock radio on a 2001 C5 Coupe has a mute function? I'm trying to hook up a radar detector/laser jammer so that the radio will mute if those devices get a hit. All help is much appreciated. Thanks

C5 schematics are HERE. If you really want the system to mute, you could try hooking up a relay in the power wire to the signal processor, that should cut the signal on/off but you may get some nasty popping when power is reapplied. Pull/reinsert fuse 24 in the passenger footwell to see how it would sound (but I wouldn't have the volume up too loud, just in case).
