I have started to purchase a few items for my stereo build.
I feel I made a mistake, and would like to know if I did.
I purchased a Zapco C2K 2.0 amp thinking it would work well running one sub.
Well to make a long story short, the sub I am planning on running is a single 4 ohm 450 watt Focal sub. I know the Zapco will preform better running at 2 ohms.
So my question is this, will this amp put out enough power for a single 4 ohm sub?
Thanks for any help.
That amp would put out 200w into a bridged 4ohm load, compared to 400w into a 2ohm load. So, yes, that isn't the ideal setup, but it would work. However, I think I'd find a sub capable of a 2ohm mono load.

That's what I figured. I ended up getting a C2K 6.0, so it should be a better match for the sub.
