I've had most of the audio equipment for a couple weeks. I'm recycling the Polk MM6501 components and MM1040 subs from my coupe. I got my Arc amps (KS mini 125.4 and KS 600.1) plus door baffles and sound deadening from Rick at RAAM Audio. The head unit (Pioneer AVH-P8400BH) and associated harnesses are coming from DD Mods. The forum vendors have been a fantastic resource for getting an excellent sound system in my Vette I ordered the Vette Nuts sub enclosures for the subs, then found that my Polks don't fit. The basket on the Polk subs doesn't taper enough compared to the JL subs for which the enclosures are designed. I might use spacers to raise the subs so they fit. Marc at Vette Nuts has been really helpful. The other alternative I'm looking in to is a local shop that offers custom fabrication to put 10" subs behind the seats.
I can't give enough credit to the great vendors here. Anything from a basic speaker/HU swap to a full out competition level system, they can set you up!
how are you planning on running your MM6501s?
The Arc mini 125.4 bridged into 2 channels is recommended to be ran at 4 ohms X 2 channels and the MM6501s, are 2 ohms components
Just curious on what configuration (2 or 4 channels) you are planning running the Arc mini 125.4?

I was looking at pics of the vettenuts sub boxes, and it looks like you have room for a spacer of up to around 3/4" without interfering with the roof mount, based on the picture below. It would suck if after all the money you spent on the boxes that you'll have to offload them and fork over some serious dough for custom work. Spacers are also really, really easy to fabricate, if you wanted to do it yourself.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I just tried the boxes I had from the coupe and found they don't fit into the convertible trunk. Back to square one...
