Installed the KS500-1 amp yesterday, one thing that stuck out that cracked me up was a huge "Made in China" sticker, so much for American quality... Anyway, amp fired right up and ran cool as a cucumber. I have owned tons of cars and have installed hundreds of amps but have never really messed with high power amps, my usual install would be a JL Audio 500/5 or a 4 channel amp with 300 watts and a 250 watt sub amp, for 500 watts of mono power I am really not impressed, it sounds good but while I was waiting for it to be repaired then replaced I bought a new 1993 Proton C230 clone off ebay for $25 shipped and used half the amp (Rated 30 watts a channel and it's not bridgeable) to run the sub and it worked fine. Oh well it is what it is, they did fix there Amp for me but I'll probably won't go back to Arc any time soon.
