CD Changer Install
When finally getting the correct wiring harness I succesfully routed the harness from the back of the Vette and hooked it up to the 3 pin and 4 pin connectors in the footwell. The only glitch was in trying to gain access to the 4 pin connector. It was connected to a plastic pin that went through the support bracket for the fuse box. I could not get it rotated to get the harness connector installed. I finally resorted to cutting the plastic pin to gain access. I was hesitant to do it for fear of cutting through something vital. But it worked and now tunes are flowing through the Bose from the changer. Anyone else experience this difficulty with the 4 pin connector? It was the most frustrating part of the install.
