Haven't had a chance to try it yet. Tempted (especially since they're selling for $400 right now), but I'd have to redo the amp rack... definitely don't want to do that any time soon.
One negative is this unit doesn't come with a mic input or any tyype of autotune.

I have a 3Sixty.2 right now. It's a good processor - a little noisy, but great features and extremely useful. It's been rumored that RF worked on addressing the noise floor issue, so I'd love to try out the new model.
But I have the controller custom mounted in my center console and the processor unit is flush mounted in my amp rack, so everything would have to be redone.
It's a pretty difficult decision - almost impossible to really evaluate any sound quality differences between the units, since very few people ever get a chance to swap between units, and even if you do, any SQ difference are probably more setup issues than hardware differences.
I like the idea of the JBL - with 5 years of development time, automatic calibration/setting, etc, it's a pretty slick unit. Audison's equipment is always pretty top notch. The older version of the 3Sixty was definitely a step below those two, but the new version should be closer.
Have you read any of the posts on DIYMA for the JBL? Seems like mixed results from users.
Yes Im on the DIYMA forum, learning alot and spending alot of time over there!
Basically I want to retain (for now anyways) my OEM head unit. I have 2 way comps up front (focal k2), 2 way comps for back (got brand new set of hertz for $60 so I couldnt refuse!) I have a Zapco amp to power them and I will have a single 12" sub powered by its own mono amp.
So I just need a unit that will allow me to keep oem head unit and run my equipment, I dont need the crossovers/built in amps/etc they have built in, that auto tune sounds cool too.
I have an MS-8, love it. Probably move up to Arc Audio PS-8 when they become more widely available. MS-8 works a lot of magic with minimal user/installer input, PS-8 apparently requires that you know more about cutoffs, slopes, EQing, etc. and you have to adjust with a laptop instead of a supplied controller like the MS-8.
I went with the AudioControl DQXS, unlimited adjustments but V-E-R-Y manual - NOTHING automatic. Would be nice to hook up to a 'puter, so wish I'd gone with the RF stuff ...
I have one I'm installing one in my C5 now. As of right now I have yet to actually fire it up but I sent the unit to Bikinpunk on diy to see what his thoughts are. He fired it up and said it worked very well and sent out a 4v signal with no issue. He was going to do a full review of it but his computer crashed while he was taking measurements. I'm about 2-3 weeks out before I can really give any kind of review.
Nope. Its strictly manual. They were considering that during the designing phase but for whatever reason they decided against it. I've been told the provisions are still on the circuit board for a mic input too. I'm assuming it was a cost cutting move to eliminate it from the final design.
