Has anyone bought the Alpha Nav AN5650NV from Dennis yet? I have been looking a this HU for some time and I do not want to make the same mistake twice. I bought a SoundStream HU because it had a lot of functions for the price. Well, you get what you pay for. I hated it and had tons of problems with it. Ipod would not sync, bluetooth would not connect my phone, and it was as slow as a 40 year old computer. That is why I am asking questions now. If you have bought this HU:
1. How is working for you?
2. How does it compare to an upper level model? (Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.)
3. How is the speed of different functions? Does it respond quickly?
4. Overall, how do you like it and would you recommend it?
In addition, Dennis if you read this, what have you heard? and what would you recommend? I will be buying from you.
Any reviews would be greatly appreciated.

I bought one from Dennis. I loved the nav! All the functions are very straight forward and simple. That's one thing I didn't like about the upper level units, they had so many features that it seemed more complicated and harder to navigate through all of them. Yes, the upper level units have a little more fine tuning capabilities, but for me, the easier the better especially while driving.

Any more reviews or updates? I'm considering purchasing this unit. Right now it's between this HU or the Jensen. The Alpha has Sat and the Jensen doesn't. Haven't decided if I care yet but I'm feeling I'll eventually want Sat so the Alpha will probably be the choice.
How do you connect an Ipod? Is there a connection on the front somewhere or is it a USB cord ran from behind the unit?
