I myself am a big fan of the Kenwood
However I do not have any left instock at this time for 2012 90 series models. I have an order in with KEnwood for more but its not looking good that I will get them. They will be releasing the new model info or shall I say allowing me to release the info in a few weeks. The new models will be shipping towards the end of January
The Pioneer x940 with install items is 699.99 plus a 100.00 mail in rebate
the Kenwood will be 999.99 and no rebate on a similar model for 2013
I'm wondering if the Kenwood is worth the extra money?
If you plan on using the Nav a lot, then it probably is. If you only use Nav occasionally and mostly listen to iPod, then Pioneer may even be a better choice. If you have an iPhone the 940 can use the AVIC Feeds app. That app is awesome, if google maps can find it you'll have one touch directions to it in your car
I have been thinking of buying the oem nav for my car but might go this route instead. Is the install for the pioneer and backup camera hard?
Also dennis on your website it says xm or sirius radio but last I checked I have SiriusXM or atleast thats what I am paying for. Which option would I select? Is everything included with the radio so I can just plug it in and be all set?

With the current Pioneer units you have to select Sirius or XM its not best of both. Kenwood has Sirius/XM combo in all current and new units coming out.
The replacement NAV units for Pioneer that come out after first of the year will use the same Sirius/XM module that Kenwood uses.
As far as install goes. Its not really that hard if we prewire them for you. If you call me I can explain what it is you would be left to do
