JL amp info
Hi guys, I am currently running a JL 450/4 amp and a JL 500/1 for my two 10" W3's. Here is my question. If I up the 500/1 to a 1000/1 for the subs, am I going to have to add another battery? I am currently running a yellow top Optima. thanks for any info!!

+1 on the Big 3.
You can run 1100 watts (at least) on the factory alternator. (the 500/1 and two Alpine 300w amps are on my setup)
I may consider swapping my alternator for a high amp unit later for some of the other gizmos I plan to run (power inverters etc)
