Guess I should've done more research, just wrapping up a double din install in my 01, only to find out that the roem-vet1doesn't do retained accessory power. Wish I'd known that before hand...
So, what are my options, cause this is stupid on PAC's part on pretty much every level.
Metra XSVI provides RAP. I have had one for a couple of years with a Pioneer 8200BT. Works great, sounds great. But be warned, other guys have had problems with this unit...your mileage my vary.

Reason: 8200BT
I think I'll pick between the two and get one shortly. Since I've got the bluetooth phone option on the stereo I think I'll add the RAP option. Besides, more than a few times a good song comes on the radio right as you're parking that you want to listen to.
Thats what I've got, works great, just like OEM, bluetooth continues to work as well
Good to hear, was considering going the TopDownTech route anyways. I've got the window module already in my 'vert, and I've met the owner before (came out to try out modules on our XLR and Avalanche).
