XM antenna

Has anybody had any luck with using the existing XM antenna with a new HU and the SC100 adpt? If not were have you mounted the antenna that comes with the kit?

I mounted my GPS antenna for my new HU inside the dash, under the center channel speaker grill/defrost vent. On the drivers side, there is a small, flat spot where the antenna fit perfectly without blocking the air flow. I ran the cable down to the HU, no problem.

Existing XM antenna is over rt rear wheel well? You would need to run a wire to the HU
Not worth it in my opinion, get you a XM nd mount under the dash
