C5 PAC_ROEM-VET1 experince
How does installing a quality aftermarket HU w/ PAC-ROEM1 work out? I want to keep in door subs, will replace 3.5's all around. Can you still get good bass response without small speakers cracking and popping? I don't know if the same signal is sent to sub and speakers. If I use high pass filter in unit, will it cut bass to sub too?

You need to send the full signal through the ROEM, it will split out the bass and send that signal to the door subs.
If you replace all the twiddlers with good coaxials it sounds much better than stock, even with the oem subs.
