USB random play?

Anyway to set up the stereo so it will play totally random from the USB?

Car is a 2013 3LT

My Alpine INA W910 will play USB randomly as well as random within a folder.

Can it be done? Or is this a stupid question and I can find the answer in the owners manual? Because I must of missed something somewhere.

When I play my I-POD touch I just hit the random button on the cars screen. You couldn't see that? Is this a trick question?

I can do that with my Ipod as well, but am trying to figure out out to make the USB flash drive play random.
With the USB I can play it random within a folder, but I want to play all the songs randomly

Not a stupid question, just stupid answers. The people didn't read what you said. I had the same problem, and the only way I have figured out how to do this, is put all the songs in the root directory ie... USBDIVE:\*.mp3 Don't use folders for the artist. Wish there was a better solution, but if there is I haven't found it.

On my Kenwood:

I touch PLAYLIST, then VIEW BY ARTIST, then a button appears that says ALL. Click ALL and now all the songs on your thumbdrive will appear. Then scroll to RANDOM.
