Shallow Sub Mount Recomendations
I have a custom box I built with 4.5" clearance for mounting depth. Approximately 1.20 cft of air space, I can keep it sealed or port it.
I'm looking for a sub under $200. One 10". It doesn't have to be a major name brand.

I'm running Rockford P3S-10's and the sound great - around $120 ea online. But I don't know if they would work very well in your box.
Many of the shallow 10" are designed for smaller boxes. Even with a ported box, the P3S's should be in a .75 cu ft box. That's definitely one thing to keep in mind.
Tried to look up the specs on the helix, but their site sucks...
