Parrot Asteroid Smart
Just finished installing and playing around with my Parrot Asteroid Smart in my 06Z, overall pretty impressive thus far. Rainy day today we'll see how the GPS manages when it cleans up. Where has everyone else been installing the GPS module for this deck? I mounted mine on top of the vent duct just below the dash and hoping that I get a decent enough signal I can keep it hidden and down out of the way. Any tips for running this unit?

You could root it and then install the Google Play Store to reach it's full potential. Then you could download apps like Talkatone, Waze, Google Maps, Torque, etc. to your head unit 
If you have an Android phone with an app like Tasker you could have it set to automatically turn on the mobile hotspot when you get in your car. Then your Parrot would have a internet connection without even having to take your phone out of your pocket. That would make for a pretty sweet setup.
The link for Goggle Play is for the Amazon Kindle Fire, but I think the same steps will work for the Parrot.
