The Left Tweeter surface mount is broken and I need to get a new one, but at least they are in the approximate area for now. I have a spare Dash Pad I think I am going to drill out and flush mount them to try. We will see
If that's the location you've decided on where they sound the best, wouldn't you be flush mounting them on the A-pillars? If you put them in the dash pad that's a completely different sound- they'll be firing up and bouncing off the windshield?

yeah you are right. I have not listened to them where they are at yet. I just mounted them there and listened for a quick minute. I still have to finish the back before I decide whether they sound good where they are now
What did you use to attach them to the pillars? The mounts that came with mine mount flat and I used the lowest pillar screw. The problem is that the pillar is angled down at the dash pad and also straight across the dash rather than angled out. Looking to find a wy to better aim the tweets short of building custom pods.
if you decide to install them into the dash, firing up, reverse the polarity of the wires... then the sound will go out backwards, but the bounce will bring it back into phase!

I used the Strapping plumbers use in houses for piping. I pop riveted the Pods to the strapping and wrapped them in Electrical tape. right now they are wedged between the dash and pillar. so far they don't move
