Default Mini Antenna Plug for Radio Needed.

G'Day Guys,

I am located in New Zealand and I have just brought a 2002 C5 Corvette.
This is an export model, brought in from Japan.
One problem is the radio band for Japan is lower then for NZ, and I intend using a band expander to move the freq up 10Mhz.
I will do this until I decide on which after-market system I wish to put in. (Side note, I see the placement for the radio is a different size to a standard replacement, it appear to be wider and not a true 2-Din in height?)

Anyway after removing the radio, about to fit the expander I found the coax plug and radio socket was a smaller diameter.

I have tried our local electronic stores and they only carry the 9mm size. The size of the radio socket is just over 7mm.

I need to find either the cable with the mini plug from a wreck, or purchase the plug and socket to make up an adaptor.

Could anyone help where to get either/or of these options?

Regards
Kevin.

Is the standard aftermarket euro antenna plug the same size as in US? If yes, and the GM antenna plug in a Japan export is the same as in US, then you'd need one of these (they're both the same):
