Kuda Base (mount) Install
I initially posted this question in the C5 General Section. However, I received no response. I thought I would give it a try here. Item will be installed in a 99 Coupe, stock interior.
I'm looking for a little advice on installing a Kuda Base. (Ipod / Iphone mount) The instructions that came with the base are extremely weak. I'm not sure exactly how the top tab attaches to / under / behind the trim surround. Do you remove the torx screws to insert the tab? Is the tab bent and inserted behind the trim? The HVAC Plate seems to block the tab from being inserted. If anyone has installed / removed a Kuda Base please advise. I have exhausted my search options.

I have no idea how a Kuda looks, but if it's meant to slide under the trim and you can't force it in, then maybe loosening/removing the trim will help. Good instructions HERE
