Default C6 Harness - which wire is which!?

Hey all, I'm working on installing a system I purchased from Dennis @ Double D. Have a quick question (possibly among more, but the how-to's here are really helpful...). In the below/attached picture of the harness I received (for a C6 w/ no Onstar), does anyone know what the loose wires are for? That is, the green and orange wires. I believe at least one is a reverse signal wire (I'm installing a backup camera as well...)?

Thanks in advance!

There may be extra wires in the harness that you don't need to use, or they may connect somewhere else in the car. HU instructions and DD instructions should cover everything.

Reverse trigger and speed VSS wires are in footwell, check out post #2 HERE.

Dimmer wire is under TC/AH button, splice into grey/black and connect HU orange dimmer wire directly to it.

If you got the pre-wire, all others are probably done already.

That should have been done with the pre-wire, are you sure you're not looking at the 'antenna remote' wire?

But to answer your question, HU amp remote gets connected to wire at B3 of the 24 pin plug. Should line up with white wire on oem plug.

Alternatively, you can also access the dimmer circuit from pin 1 of the F55 switch connector under the "tombstone". It's the same circuit and the same color code (grey/black) as the one on the TC/AH button. Since my car doesn't have the F55 suspension the connector was sitting there unused, so that's where I tapped it. That way if I screwed something up, at least I wouldn't affect anything that was actually being used in the car.
