Bad Ground Loop Isolator?
Can a ground loop isolator go bad? I installed an amp for my sub to my stock Bose system in my 07. I had a terrible buzz. I bought a GLI from Radio Shack and it fixed the problem. It sounded great ( for what it is ) until the other day. I got the buzz back and it sounds like the signal is weak. I checked for loose wires and didn't find any. So my problem could be, loose wire, amp going bad or bad isolator. Can a GLI go bad?

I've had several GLI's go bad. One wouldn't let the higher frequencies through the left channel any more, one shorted between +/-, and one just stopped working (alt whine came back).
