Not loud enough
I dont get to drive my z06 enough, but when I do, I like the windows down and the NPP open (dos equis voice). Anyway, I dont like that im limited on how loud I can go. I dont need anything extravagant head unit wise, but if I swap my door and rear speakers, will it get a bit louder in the cabin? I have the radio turned all the way up and its pretty weak. I added a JL sub box, and it helped with the weak lows, but I would like more sound.

Just putting in aftermarket speakers will get you better highs, but it won't do anything for volume.
Your only real option for volume is to get an aftermarket amp and put components in the doors.
Lots of different ways to do it, come up with a target budget and call Dennis at DoubleDmods.com

I've been frustrated with the same issue - lack of volume/horrible sound quality.
I recently had Dennis at Double D rectify those issues.
Audio upgrade included:
Kenwood head unit
Focal 8" components speakers - doors
Focal 5.25 coax - rear
Kenwood amps
JL 10" sub
Custom sub/amp box
The power & clarity are incredible. I'm VERY happy I did this...
