C5 replacement of head unit
Have been considering putting gps and sat/xmin my 2000 vert.
I had also considered using a flip to keep from having to do the double din mod.
Here is my current thinking. Have a dedicated power cord power my portable garmin (which i really like) and put it where i want. Put in an alpine cde154bt for my sat radio.
A few questions
1. Does cartoys do a good professional job with install?
2. Any one have experience with the alpine?
Thoughts on this approach? Considerably less expensive then using a combined gps and radio.
