Default C6 GS New sub
Had this MTX 10inch sub and KICKER amp installed. This system sounds pretty good and its very neighbor friendly.

Any issues with the amp overheating in the cubby?

Not at all. The Class DX amp works great with at this time of year, it just gets warm. I'm also not a loud music kind of guy but this setup really gives the Bose system a little more bottom end.

Went on a 68 mile round trip yesterday and the Amp got a little warmer. I cracked open the storage box that it's mounted in and that seems to help some.
