c6 sub
Has anyone used the back wells on a 2005 coupe as the box for a 8" sub by just putting a plate over the well and mounting a 8" on the plate? I'm not sure you can get a great seal, but wondering if it has been done? Just seem like there are not a lot of great in-expensive options for the c6 like I had for my c5.

I did exactly, but found I had to add about 3" to raise the mount to get a bit more air volume. That worked like a charm. My 8" JL would shake the windows if I wanted it to.
