Hi all.
I have a 13 coupe that did not come with Bose or Nav.
I added a Nav a couple of years ago & it does not seem to have enough "oomph" in the volume dept.
I was wondering would adding a Bose amp get the extra DB's, if it is a simple plug N play that is.
Wiring doesn't match up and speakers are different. Even if you did a full conversion to all Bose it still wouldn't get any louder. It's been a while since I heard a stock non-Bose C6, but I believe it may even be a touch louder than Bose.
If you want to increase volume call Dennis to go aftermarket

i have the same question, however i wondered if a programming change could affect this? were there any nav equipped cars without bose?

A programming change to what? The plugs/wires on the Bose amp are different than the non-Bose.
I'm pretty sure that Bose was either a prerequisit for Nav or it came with the Nav package if your car didn't already have it in another options package.
Anyone who isn't happy with the non-Bose most likely won't be happy with the Bose setup either, there isn't much difference.
