Painting center console bezel
While everything is apart, I would like to paint the bezel that surrounds the radio/ac unit/shifter. It is currently gray in color but has various scratches and scuffs.
Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to DIY this? I am taking the car on vacation for the 4th, so I don't have time to send it off somewhere, etc.
I was thinking of a gloss black of some sort. The exterior is LeMans Blue, interior is tan/black.
Thoughts, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Base coat clear coat is always best and how we do them for customers.
I would not do gloss black myself...you will show a ton of smudges finger prints and scratches ect
I would do it the correct way when you get back versus trying a DIY rattle can for now due to time frame.
If I would have known we could have shipped you a radio and the painted bezel all at once!
SEM makes a rattle can primer filler that works really well. you can order upol clearcoat kits off amazon for 35/quart with hardener, paint.....mmm....see if you have a local ppg or dupont dealer and buy a half pint of your favorite color
I did the spokes in my aftermarket steering wheel to match the car and they turned out great (picture sucks, but paint is perfect):
