Kicker vs. Focal
I am in the early stages of planning my audio upgrade in my 2012 GS vert. I did an upgrade about 5 years ago in my 96 CE coupe using Focal coaxials, ARC subwoofers and ARC mini-amp. I was very pleased with the performance. I really liked the "brightness" of the Focal speakers. The sound was very "crisp".
I have a friend who can get Kicker equip at cost. Could you experts offer some advice on how Kicker speakers compare to Focal speakers? I plan to do the midrange/tweeter with crossover upgrade as well as adding subwoofers in the cubbies.
Also some thoughts on Kicker vs. ARC amps? I am planning to install the amp in the passenger footwell.

you can not compare Kicker to Focal.. LOL MAYBE the cheap Chinese made entry level stuff from Focal...but not the Auditor, Performance, K2 ect which is what you would want to buy.
Same on amps.... Arc is in a different level than Kicker
