Default ZR1 Stealth box

Does anyone make a stealth box for a C6 ZR1? The only ones I've seen for a c6 fit down in the rear cubby hole. The ZR1 doesn't have a cubby hole but I'd like to put a sub in that corner. Any suggestions?

Sounds to me like you'll have to do something custom. You could buy one of the pre-fab fiberglass boxes and modify it to work, but that will probably leave you with very little enclosure volume, and therefore a limited selection of speakers that will work, if there are any.

Or you can build or have built a custom fiberglass enclosure specifically for your car and the subwoofer you choose.

Some pictures of the area would help. I live close and have experience building fiberglass enclosures if you are interested in going the custom route.

There is a cubby hole under the carpet in the left corner it's just covered by the carpet. I have the C6 JL Stealthbox in that spot in my ZR1. The installer said the cubby wasn't quite deep enough for the stealthbox but he was able to modify the box to get it to fit. Looks like OEM and sounds great.

Did you have to cut the carpet out?

You can look out for a use carpet from any other corvette and save yours. Keep posting as I have a ZR1 and plan to have a sub install soon. Pictures would be great
