Just purchased a low mileage Z06 and talked with Dennis at DD mods about doing a double din with their kit. I decided to go single din for now, since a lot of single dins offer Bluetooth/hands free phone/USB and use the money I save for mods. I am keeping the stock speakers since they work just fine so I was wanting to know what harnesses do I need to do the job and make everything compatible? All help is appreciated.

but do yourself a favor and get a bypass kit and some new speakers instead because it's gonna sound like absolute ****. Stock speakers might sound great now but they won't after. Guarantee.

I would go with the Pac ROEM-Vet1, with an aftermarket HU should sound better than stock.

You'll also need a GM antenna adapter and a mounting plate. Call Dennis back

JD, do you have to modify/remove the OEM bracket that holds the factory radio in place in order to install the single DIN unit?

It depends on which HU and which adapter plate you use. Worst case you'll have to cut out the rear bracket, sometimes you can just bend it a bit with some pliers.
