Default C5 - Replace head unit and speakers

I am looking to replace the head unit and speakers in my 03. I don't want to spend a lot on the system. Basic head unit and decent speakers in factory locations. No desire to get high end since its a vert with non-stock exhaust.
Looking at a Pioneer unit and matching speakers. Can I use the factory speaker wiring or do I need to run new. Is there a harness kit available that allows plugging the HU in to the factory wiring?
I've tried searching but not finding what I am looking for.

You could check out Crutchfield.com and choose the radio you want with your specific car and they will show you what installation gear and wiring harness you need. You should definitely be able to reuse the factory speaker wires with the right wiring harness. Your best option may be to call Double D Mods and he can answer your questions and any installation questions you may have. I know he usually offers bundle deals that include everything you would need to install the new stereo in one package.
