I haven't heard of anyone that does but I found that it is better if you build your own. I have 3 different versions of enclosures and will make a couple more this winter for the final steps. I built one out of 3/4" MDF that is awesome but it is a little tall and I can't take my top off and secure it in the back where it belongs. It looks nice. I carpeted it and used corners from crutchfield to protect the corners. I am going to try something a little differently this winter with fiberglass and using a Boston Acoustics 12.5 LF sub. Lots of vinyl, bondo and fiberglass and it should look pretty decent come spring time.
I am with MY2K2C5 about building your own box. And like MY2K2C5, I am thinking of reinstalling everything this winter as well. I can never leave anything alone. :nonod: I'm trying to figure out how I can mount my IDMAX upside down in a plexiglass sided enclosure and still retain the targa top storage. :yesnod:
Hey Clean99, I just saw that you are from Tulsa. Not sure how soon you are wanting to do something but if I can get my box redone like I am thinking about then I could maybe sell you mine. I live right up the road from you in Joplin. The box has 1.25 ft^3 and is cut for a 12" driver. My IDMAX sounds great in it. :yesnod:
