I don't know much about the Crux except that Crutchfield is basically giving them away ($19) with the purchase of a head unit. I would of recommended spending the extra money to get the Pac Audio (RP5-GM11) one they were offering in the other install package. It's hard to trouble shoot over the internet, but if you think that its definitely the harness, I would call Crutchfield and complain and try to get them to send you the other one for a deeply discounted price.
Thanks!!! That will be my next step. By the time I was done with the install, it was past their east coast tech support hours.
The more research I do, the more I am finding the CRUX is just not up to snuff for the Corvette wiring topography.
My other choice is to bypass the amp and go straight to the speakers. The reason I feel it is the interface, I have tested the Kenwood going straight to a speaker... so I suspect there is something with the CRUX. If I could guess, I would bet that they haven't sold a lot of these to Corvette C6 owners, and if they have Bose, they have steering wheel controls, which automatically kicks you up to the PAC part.
This is phase one, phase 2 is setting up for amps and building the boxes for the subs, phase three will be amps and sub installation.
I have a Focal 2 channel for the front stage, will use the Kenwood internal amp for the "rear" speakers and a Pioneer mono amp at 600 watts (1 ohm stable) with a pair of JL Audio 8W7's.
Crutchfield rocks. They are sending me the PAC for FREE!!!!
Awesome! Just make sure you set the numbered dial on the side of the module before you start plugging anything in. Check your instructions, but I think you need to set it to 3 for Kenwood. Hopefully it all goes smoothly from here.

If not, PAC-AUDIO's customer support is pretty top notch.
I installed the RP5-GM11 with my Sony XAV-AX100 a couple of months back and wasn't getting any response from my steering wheel controls, and the customer support guys gave me a couple of different number settings to try, and sure enough the first one worked (one that was not intended for Sony, fyi).
i just installed a new head unit in my 10 grand sport using the pac.. i read some where about using the rca's on the harness but i had no sound. turns out you need to use the actual speaker wires out of the head unit. there are 2 ports on the pac for amplified audio and non amplified audio.
I installed the PAC yesterday and finally have sound.
The CRUX interfaces do not work with the C6 wiring topography. It's that simple.
The Kenwood Excelon 9903S sounds AWESOME!!!
Glad you got it going, but I used a Crux 17c for my install this weekend and it is working fine. I have an 05 C6 vert...
I had no sound at one point and realized after some intensive head scratching that the battery was low and not feeding my bose amp enough juice. I threw a charger on the battery and it made noise again after I got back up to 11.5v or so.
