Amp just died.....sort of?
Channels 1 and 2 driver the tweeter and midrange and channels 3/4 are bridged to to the midbass.
The system has been working flawlessly since I installed it back in 2010....but today when playing at relatively low levels the entire right channel cut out. I checked connections and channels, and having two identical amps, I swapped them. Sure enough the passenger side amp is the problem.
The faulty amp LED still illuminates like normal, was given time to cool off and doesn't seem to have any physical issues (it sits in a custom built active-cooled amp rack)
The setup is designed specifically for the MRP F300 so simply dropping in another model would mean re-building the whole rack.
Any ideas? Is there a simple reset I don't know about?
thanks.
