The speakers, krx2 are $650 at Amazon
The pc130's I don't really need, I think the fill is unnecessary.
I'll pay $100 more for the morel MPS 5.950 amp $650
The dealer in Philly offered me the Hybrid 602's for $550.
If I bought the same wires I'd be at $1320.
$320 is a good savings but I get a better amp and I guess I really want those Morels so, I'm leaning that way.
hybrid sounds so god damn much better than the krx2

so god damn.....

They are not the KRX2's. Look again, the box is for the ES 165 KX2. Those replaced the KRX2's and go for $1300 for just the speakers.

I don't mean to steer you in a different direction, just saw that near you so I just wanted to throw it out there.

Ok Fred, I stand corrected on the speakers. I appreciate the heads up on this system too, It's a REALLY good deal! So, I have received the Morel MPS 9.590 amp from Perzan and the head unit DDX9903s from Crutchfield. I went with the 9903s instead of the 9904s because it's the same unit, only with DVD and it was $550. The 602 Hybrids will be delivered directly from Morel, along with the remote sub control, although I bought them from Perzan. Sub is from Vettenuts and shipped already with the 10w3v3 installed. Mark tells me it's a pretty tight fit in the c6 cubby so, bolting it in is not needed. I like NOT drilling holes in the car. So, just waiting for the installer to be available and the speakers and sub to arrive now. Also shopping for F/R cameras.

not the same unit. the 9904s doesn't have the high noise floor when tethered to carplay or auto android. it has a faster processor and a slightly different sound. the carplay / AA issues on the 9903 were substantial.

9904s was a major improvement and cost between the two is about the same with an avg 550 street price. they were on a doorbuster via newegg the other day for 400 shipped. sale lasted about 4-5 hours

Oh crap!!
I guess I'll send it back and exchange it for the 9904s!
I really don't know what a, "high noise floor" means or even what AA issues are, but I'll take your word for it.
THANKS!

Ok, I returned the 9903 to UPS and since I didn’t open the box, The nice lady at UPS considered it a “refused delivery”. Saved me $10 The 9904 is already ordered and will ship as soon as Crurchfield receives the 9903. Thank You Very Much! may you reap what you have sewn, ten fold. I’m going to build my own amp rack now, something simple but maybe led lights behind the amp and crossovers. Any thoughts on hiding vs displaying crossovers?

if you mean passive crossovers it's a cosmetic preference. the only benefit to displaying is you can fiddle with the tweeter level very easy to help find the sound you're after

It will be covered with carpet, Lexan, (painted on the bottom) will go next. The amp and crossovers will be suspended ½” above the lexan with leds adhered to bottom of the amp and crossovers. It will lay flat in the trunk, behind the seats.

Plantspike, I'm just curious how your install turned out? Any updates or is it still a work in progress?

There are a couple more in my profile under stereo. Please let me know if
You can’t see them and I’ll fix it. I still have to go back, the midrange speakers don’t do much unless I crank them up with the EQ. By don’t do much I mean they are pretty much absent. I think it’s something in the way the crossovers are set up. Not like I know, I googled possible solutions and quickly realized I do not speak the lingo
I saw the installer move some tiny red caps on the crossovers, maybe that’s got something to do with it.... that’s about the extent of my understanding.
