2006 vert rear speaker's
My 2006 vert is in storage now but i figured i ask..
I wanna upgrade the rear speaker's in the spring and wondered if i should just stay about the same quality as my front's or if money allows should i get better quality one's than my current front one's..
And i will be leaving tho's front one's in.... Oh and im running Passive Crossover...
What i have now is.....
1 = Alpine 960HDMI Deck
2 = Boston Acoustic GT-42 Amp
3 = 12 inch Down firing Sub ( LUV down firing in the vette ) Blends better
4 = Image Dynamic XS-65 ( Front)
As of now there is low cost Kicker in the rear that orig owner had added in...

When I did the system in my C6 Vert, I did not install rear speakers. Just did a good set of front components. Here is what I put in;
Alpine IVE-W530
CDT Audio 100x2 amp (fits where the factory amp goes)
CDT Audio MX-623 components (6.7 inch woofer, 2 inch mid, 1 inch tweeter)
These speakers get down quite low. Driving with the top down at highway speeds it is still clear.
BTW, how do you like the 960hdmi. I do have a couple of issues with the W530 I am not liking. It takes a long time (15-30 seconds to read it, even switching between inputs) to read the USB drive I have in it with my music and the hands free is not real good. The person on the other end of the call has a hard time hearing what I am saying.
Thanks
Gary

And yes im ok with the Alpine.. Couldn't pass up the deal for 500.00 New. and it's the HDMI version..
For NAV it is , so so , which i assumed and wasnt expecting it to be as good as my portable garmin..
Audio for phone is Great , Very clear for me to here and the one's on the other end .. alot better than the pioneer AVH-5700 i orig had in there.. Audio Quality for any tunes is hard to say if it is any better really than pioneer..I only gained better S.Q when i put my old trusty Boston G.T. 42 amp in.. And that had replaced a Helix amp that just wasnt cutting it for me for S.Q. I only have used the U.S.B. for my ipod classic that is hook to usb and it seems to be fine with out any issue's.. Over all not a bad deck.. And is pretty quick for powering on and switching to anything... Only draw back is the screen resolution.. They should of made it brighter...
