Most stock looking double din for c6
Hey guys. I have a 07 z06 that I just bought a few months ago. Awesome car. I want to put front and rear cameras in the car to help with parking. My dad just bought a new z06 and the camera system there is amazing. I have the nav in my car now and I want to replace the unit with aftermarket kenwood or something similar but also don’t want it to look cheasy. I don’t need a super fancy radio. All I need is two camera inputs and Bluetooth for streaming music. Any recommendations on a good brand that will look kind of stock while having the two camera inputs. Also what is the best dash install kit that looks the best as well.
Thanks so much for your help!
Jon.

I installed the Pioneer AVIC8200NEX in my C5. It's a great unit with lots of great features. One of the things i like best is the amazing colorful screen - much easier to see in sunlight. Sounds great, lots of inputs, great GPS too ! I really like the large screen and it looks very clean in my car. Wish i had some pics but car is away in storage

I did the AVIC-8200 NEX also, it's not cheap but it's loaded with features and looks real good. If you order the AVIC-8201 NEX it comes with a camera, you can get an additional camera so you can have both front and rear cameras which is that I did.

Melting Slicks
I'll throw out a vote for the Sony XAV-AX100 as the most stock looking aftermarket double-din unit. Not as feature-laden as the Pioneers and Kenwoods, but it has a simple, clean design and uses a matte finish that matches the stock console. I had a Kenwood and always hated the glossy trim finish.

How do you trigger the front camera to come on?

The rear camera is triggered by the backup lights and comes on automatically when put in reverse. The front and rear cameras can also be switched on at any time then switched between the two depending on which you want to watch. Here's a link to their system, if you click on Manuals you can view the installation and owners manuals that can help answer any other questions you may have. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...201NEX#manuals
