Steering wheel audio volume switch gremlin
Using the + switch on the steering wheel to increase the audio volume sometimes lowers the volume instead. Passenger witnessed it, so I wasn't hitting the wrong switch by mistake. It has happened on more than 1 occasion & usually works normally after turning car off & on. Turning radio off & on does not fix it. When it malfunctions, volume **** on radio in dash functions normally & switching between radio & CD does not fix it.
Any ideas as to what might be going on? If I take it to the dealer, they will say it didn't do it for them so they couldn't find anything wrong, just like when CD player acts up. BOSE (yuck) audio system is factory & absolutely no mods have been made to car.
2013 C6 base, 3LT with NAV & HUD, A6 NRBM convertible, < 20K miles.
