Satellite ratio reception
I have a 2018 Grand Sport Carbon 65. The satellite reception fades out and I was told that the antenna is in the fascia of the rear bumper which was taken apart by the dealer who found no apparent wire problem. The regular radio works fine. Anyone else having a problem. I'm wondering if the Carbon Fibre bumper is somehow affecting reception.

You've posted this in the C6 section and none of us have a Carbon Fiber Bumper. Well aftermarket, a select few maybe. Suggest you post this in the C7 or C8 section. And welcome to the CVF.

I had a Sirrus SAT unit in my 99 and had lots of issues with signal loss. The locations for the antenna that I tried were on the right side of the dash, under the rear cover, under the hood, but what worked best was attached to the rear hatch at the top center. But even then I still had issues with losing reception when driving on roads with tall trees on each side........common in western Oregon, or any road that didn't have a crystal clear view of the sky. It was annoying enough that I stopped my subscription and have never returned to SAT Radio.
